Definitely a rate for this song! As a massive OneRepublic fan it's great to see their music change and develop, and Love Runs Out does not disappoint. It has an almost retro sound to it and the more you listen to it the more you fall in love with it. I could definitely listen to it on repeat and can't wait to see the band perform it live in October. The musical genius of Ryan Tedder has struck again, this time creating a song with his band for the band. I'd like to think that the song is talking about their musical career; they should be doing this 'till the love runs out' and as far as I'm aware that is a long time in the future. If their music continues to be as amazing as this track I think the band can only continue to grow and will definitely attract some new fans.
The only drawback; the vocals are quite low at points, how are the dedicated fans supposed to sing along easily! Ah well, the song is worth it and it's nice to just sit and listen... or you can attempt to sing along, whatever floats your boat.
If you haven't bought the song then go do it now! Or buy the album Native, which has recently been rereleased with some added tracks.
