It's important to say this is the film, because I think the books are really good. And that is where the problem lies, I don't think the film does the book justice. As with many films, it's all about the interpretation of a few people involved in the film making process, but a book gives the reader the freedom to imagine. For me, the films just aren't as good. There isn't the same danger and build-up of tension, you don't get to explore the world the same way; you see it on a screen exactly how the director wants you too, and you only see what they want you to.
That is what makes this a hate, truthfully I think the film is good. The acting is great, the actors and actresses really know their characters. If only it wasn't based on the books, because for me the books are miles ahead of the film.
